The process of bending Plexiglas and bending polycarbonate is carried out by means of controlled heating of the material in a precisely defined area. Once the required temperature is reached, the material is bent to the desired angle or shape. Once cooled, the plastic retains its new shape without compromising strength or transparency.

This is a common method of bonding edges and surfaces, which is done using a thin adhesive (Acrifix thin adhesive used by us) applied to the bonded joint. The adhesive flows capillary between the individual boards or board edges. This is a fast way of bonding plexiglass. The disadvantage of using a one-component adhesive when bonding materials is the certain occurrence of bubbles in the bonded joint, which depends on the experience of the worker, the preparation of the bonded joints and the types of materials bonded (for example, the type of material GS is harder to bond than the XT and causes a higher percentage of bubbles). - Full polycarbonate is a transparent material that is extremely impact resistant. It is a so-called shatterproof material. Due to this property, polycarbonate is widely used for the production of protective covers for working machines. Full polycarbonate sheets resemble glass or Plexiglas in appearance, but unlike these materials, polycarbonates are virtually unbreakable (tough and therefore impact-resistant).
