Hand milling, copying of templates
Copying material on a handheld milling machine is very precise and also fast method of producing parts from supplied templates. This method of part production is applied when the customer does not have the necessary data (vectors) for production on a CNC machine, or when producing a small number of parts (in the order of pieces). Possible redrawing, or obtaining vector data is often a costly service and this is where the method finds its application manual milling according to a template.
Examples of using the hand milling method:
- manufacture of ship windows
- window milling on working machines (VZV)
- milling of caravan windows
- production of racing car windows
- window milling of old vehicles (vintage cars),
- manufacture of train windows
- car wind screens
- milling of flat-bent parts
Templates according to which products are milled:
